CVS Shopping Trip 7-7-13

I'll admit right off, there were a few deals I could have done just a LITTLE better with a little more planning... and if I had bought the Sunday paper this/last week. Which reminds me, I should get one tomorrow if they are still around!

My apologies for the poor photo quality!

First of all, make sure when you use coupons, print them off Inbox Dollars! You get 10 cents back on every coupon used!  Join Inbox Dollars Here

I printed off a couple dozen but didn't use ALL of them. On the first transaction, I bought 3 bottles of Tide, 100 oz, normally 16.49, on sale for 11.94. Used $1.50 off 2 (printed off Inbox Dollars) and 2 $.40 off 1. If I'd thought ahead, I could have found some higher $$ coupons to use and saved a couple more dollars! However, I also had $5 off $30 purchase, and my quarterly ecb totaling $4.50. So out of pocket on this transaction was $26.16 (Including tax). I saved $25.45, PLUS got $10 ecb back!

Boy, I'm set for laundry detergent for at least a month!

I rolled my $10 ECB onto my next transaction. That's where I got 2 Tampax pearl (I was picky and got the 18 + 2 ct) Normally  5.79 each, on sale for 3.99. Used $1.50 off  $5.00 feminine products from coupon printer + received $1 ecb back.

Colgate total 4 pack for 3.29, get 3 ECB back, plus used $.75 off one, for a money maker of  $.46

Colgate total mouthwash, 500 ml 5.79 x2 minus $.75 off one, and $2 off 2, get $5 ecb back.

Total of 2nd transaction after using ecb and coupons, $9.74, saved 18.60, received $9 ecb

For this final transaction, the only coupon I used was $2 off  SoftSoap 18 oz, but surprise! It was on sale for $2.99! (In first photo)

I also got a sale price on the Crest Sensitivity, normally 5.49, I saved 1.75, making it 3.74.

My daughter is going to summer camp in just a couple weeks so we also got all the mini's shown above, ALMOST free by using the $9 ecb from the last transaction.

Final transaction, after coupons and ecb $3.70

 Grand total spent; $39.60!

Total savings; $58.80!
